AirGuard: Smart Indoor Air Quality Monitor
In memory of a dear friend who tragically passed away due to gas asphyxiation, I designed and developed a robot that can detect toxic gases, and gases that may cause death to human. The project started with precise modeling on SolidWorks, followed by the creation of each part using a 3D printer. The robot is equipped with advanced sensors that monitor air quality, including humidity, nitrogen levels, and other harmful gases that could endanger human health. A standout feature of this robot is the integration of the ESP8266 Wi-Fi module, which enables the transmission of real time data to a mobile app, ensuring that users receive immediate alerts when gas levels become hazardous. This robot can autonomously navigate its environment, providing comprehensive air quality assessments in any location. Additionally, it has the ability to enter small and hard-to-reach spaces that are difficult or dangerous for humans to access, helping detect toxic gases in areas that would otherwise remain unchecked. This project was proudly showcased in front of prominent figures, including the Minister of Digital Economy, the Minister of Youth, and a UNICEF representative.
