Pick & Place Geneva Mechanism
This project involved designing and developing a Pick and Place Mechanism for a paper egg tray machine as part of the Mechanical Principles course at Al Hussein Technical University. The mechanism automates the transfer of freshly molded, wet egg trays from the forming molds to the drying conveyor, ensuring product quality and continuous production flow. The system was designed using CAD tools like SOILDWORKS and manufactured using MDF (laser cutting) and 3D printing, incorporating a four-bar linkage and Geneva drive for smooth and reliable operation.
