ASU Mechanical Design & CSWA Workshop

XtrudeIQ delivered a mechanical engineering design workshop at Applied Science University in partnership with AEE and ASHRAE. The session was led by Eng. Jameel Abu Zaina and designed to introduce engineering students to the fundamentals of mechanical design, SOLIDWORKS-based CAD modeling, and the CSWA certification pathway. The training focused on helping students understand how mechanical ideas are transformed into professional 3D models, starting from basic design thinking and sketching principles to practical CAD tools used in real engineering environments. Participants were introduced to essential SOLIDWORKS concepts, mechanical design workflows, and practical preparation strategies for the Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate certification.
